Family Guard Content Guard is a parental-control browser bridge used together with the locally installed Family Guard Windows application.
The current HTTP/HTTPS URL, page title, browser family and limited YouTube identifiers can be processed locally on the protected Windows device so the household's web/content rules can be evaluated.
Passive block/monitor audit events use the normalized host plus rule/reason, browser and mode metadata. They deliberately omit the full URL and page title. Health data can include browser family, extension version, mode, last reason and counters, without the full URL or page title.
When the child explicitly chooses to request parental access, the Family Guard Windows service can send the requested URL, title, browser and rule/reason metadata to the household's configured Organizer server so the parent can review the request.
The extension uses Chromium Native Messaging to the local pl.domowyorganizer.familyguard host. The extension itself does not send browsing data to advertising, analytics or social-media services. The Family Guard Windows service communicates with the household's configured Organizer server over HTTPS for policy sync, health, privacy-scoped audit events and explicit access requests.
Family Guard does not sell browsing data. The extension contains no advertising or third-party tracking code.
nativeMessaging is required for the local Family Guard bridge. Access to HTTP and HTTPS pages is required because parental content rules must be evaluated on pages visited by the protected child.
